iOS V4.2 brings multi-tasking to iPad

iOS V4.2 has been provided to developers recently, so what feature will this version bring to iPad?

As we all know, iPhone 4 has a huge memory of 512M, but iPad has a merely 256M memory, but iOS V4.2 runs smoothly on iPad, no delay when switch between apps.

1. Multi-tasking feature

As we all expect, multi-tasking feature appears in this version, now you can leave some apps running in the background.

2. Folder feature

After trying this firmware, we find that you can add 12 items to a folder, 20 at most.

3. Airplay and Airprint

Airplay can be used to transfer music files wirelessly, while Airprint is used to print wirelessly, but you need an app called Print Center which is compatible only with multi-tasking iOS firmware.

4. In-page search

You can search for a certain keyword in a page and highlight it.

5. Game Center

We found this feature in iOS 4.1 and in this version, it’s fully supported. However, what Apples said online gaming and pair up before is not supported, which may let someone down.

Conclusion

Although iOS 4.2 is for developers only, we can find that some long expecting features have been included, which will surely bring better experiences to the users, and we wait to see the final version and what it will bring us.
